Moldova has a 60-Day State of Emergency

‼️WARNING: Moldova —the country to the south that borders Ukraine is vulnerable, it is not part of NATO. There are currently over 100k Russian troops on the border of Ukraine and without protection from NATO, Modolva can be seized next.

What happens next is unpredictable, so here are two options:

  1. For some of you, Moldova is your only choice to exiting Ukraine so if you MUST go to Moldova, do NOT stay more than 24 hours! Go north to Romania, and when you arrive to Romania you can apply for asylum there.

  2. IF you have a choice to go to another country, go straight to Romania, Poland, Slovakia, or Hungary.

The cities of Ocnita and Palanka are ready to offer accommodation to a limited number of refugees for 72 hours. [Source].

Passport Required? No.

‼️AFTER YOU ENTER MODOLVA, REST AND THEN HEAD TO ROMANIA. DO NOT STAY IN MODOLVA FOR MORE THAN 24 HOURS, IT IS NOT SAFE. HEAD NORTH TO ROMANIA.
